As a little boy, I recall being curled up on a pew, lulled to sleep by the beautiful invitation hymns. Or at camp meeting, dangling my legs from homemade benches, kicking the sawdust with my feet. For some, a particular hymn will create the picture of the time they walked down an aisle with a broken spirit. These songs also include a great deal of emotion. I remember certain feelings related to each different song.
